In 2017, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (𝗔𝗔𝗣𝗗) published guidelines for the use of the 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗣 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮 (𝗦𝗗𝗙). In these guidelines, the AAPD recommends the use of SDF to promote the progression of children, adolescents, and patients with special needs.
