According to a recent study called “CariedAway” published in February 2023 in the United States JAMA magazine, conducted by the University of #NewYork (NYU), almost 3000 school-age children received treatment with Silver Diamino Fluoride in public schools in New York to prevent the appearance of cavities or avoid their worsening
This product was shown to be as effective against cavities as dental sealants. A single dose prevented approximately 80% of cavities and prevented 50% of cavities from getting worse when the children were evaluated two years later.
